Commonwealth Games will be 11 thousand crore
New Delhi. 3 in capital from October 19 th Commonwealth Games due increased from 11 494 estimated cost of Rs 655 crore has been reached .
Union Sports Minister MS Gill, former Sports Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday in connection with the Commonwealth Games was stated in response to questions asked . Sports Minister Aiyar asked the Indian Olympic Association ( IOA ) to bid for the Games was in 2003 the government had approved spend for them .
Gill gave the figure of 11 494 million in response , but non- official figures are being told it costs around 35,000 crore . Gill said in response to another question , with the Games organizing committee estimated Rs 1708 crore . Will generate revenue . While , the organizing committee is expected to cost 2394 crore . Government's contribution accounts will know only after the final determination .
